Coventry Reserve was the recipient of a $7,500 grant from Geico Insurance, after being nominated by a team from Geico’s local office. It is a testament to our board member and program volunteer, Joe Jordan, who worked for Geico for 42 years. Upon his retirement, he and his wife Nancy began volunteering with Coventry. Since then Joe has recruited several former coworkers to come and volunteer with him.
Victoria Elliott and her associates Sharona Gordon and Doretha Polite nominated Coventry for this donation, and kept it a secret from Joe and Darlene. This surprise donation was celebrated with goodies and SWAG from the Geico crew.
