A Personal Story Behind the Vision of Coventry Reserve by our Co-Founder/Executive Director

Visual History of Coventry Reserve's Facilities 2005-2017

In 2002, a small group of parents began a weekly, half-day program serving three adults with special needs in a private home setting.  The goal was simple - to provide them a place to learn new skills and make friends in a safe and cheerful environment.

By 2004, the program outgrew the home setting and briefly relocated to a local church.  Coventry continued to grow and in 2005, moved to the current facility located in a country setting just North of downtown Wylie, Texas in St. Paul.  This move allowed more space for expanding our programs and the number of participants.

Ten years later in 2014, Coventry expanded the existing facility with the addition of a 3,420 sq. foot Life Enrichment Center that allows Coventry to serve more participants from our community.  The new building increased the size of the creative skills center, brain building area and added a half court gymnasium, welcome center and gathering porch.

Most recently, in 2015, Coventry began offering supplemental programs that include art theory and horticulture.  Future plans include respite programming and expanding to a five-day a week program. Long range plans include respite and residential care facilities.

We welcome you to Get Involved in our mission, helping adults with special needs live life to the fullest!
